Oil leak somewhere in engine could it be breather

Ok guys I'm trying to figure out why i'm leaking oil, I just went for a hard ride today and it seems that oil is venting out of the top of m engine from a little breather filter that was previously put on it. Is this a good thing to have on it or not?

(Blow-by) happens to every engine, that is why that valve cover line runs back to the intake so it can be burned off again. Now, if you run it harder than normal, then well you will see more blow-by. If you see it being very high, then you have other problems.

I hardly know anything about 420a's but that t belt doesn't look good.

The valve cover breather should be hooked to the turbos inlet so it can create a draw (when turbo spools up) on the cover to pull out the high pressure vapors. Problem though is if it pukes oil it would get into the charge pipes, TB, IM, etc so you need some kind of catch can. Too much could be a sign of a worn out engine so a leak down test would be a good idea

crank case pressure, nothing out of the ordinary. An oil catch can should do it.. the t-belt itself is fine its sitting waayyy to much to the right though (if thats what you mean nherron)

Yeah ^ either that or the belt had a small section stripped off the side like a twizzler

nah it's a good belt, the engine was built less than 5,000 miles ago so def not worn out. has 160 psi across the board

We are not talking about the belt being old/bad. We can clearly see the letters on it. its just creepy to see the belt sit all the way to the right.. others here and I woulnt feel comfortable running it like that..

You will have to tighten either the tensioner or something that is lose. You can also have a stretched t-belt that is walking sideways.

you have to loosen the tensioner and pull the belt over and then turn the motor by hand to see if its even all the way around.

Maybe the head was milled somewhat crooked?
