there's lots of oil on the engine valve cover, where could all of it be coming from? from the dipstick?

You explain to us how it's going to defy gravity and make it from the dipstick to the valve cover.initialRES said:I guess it could be the dipstick but you would see it in alot of other places as well if that was the case. The dipstick would need to be out to do that. It could be coming through your spark plug holes or maybe your valve cover is cracked. I know my oil cap is leaking because I have the same thing. I know you said thats not it, but there aren't alot of things it could be besides that.
