I am installing a evo III 16g on my 95 talon and I am new at dsm's but I'm not new to cars used to have 240 with sr20 swap wanted something with awd. So anyway the oil feed line on the turbo is leaking oil and it is not a stock one it is one I bought from dsm motorsports you know a steel braided one with a banjo fitting at the end of it. and it is leaking from the bottom of the banjo either on the top of the washer or on the bottom of it where it touches the turbo and I think I might need new copper washer or should I put a crap load of rtv on it. Any shuggestions would help. Thanks :talon:

I'm pretty sure if your crush washer is messed up(The little gold one) then it will leak oil. I wouldent go putting all rtv around a new turbo yet, Try a new crush washer first, Or tightening the fitting alittle more? Better to do it right then regret it later on.

New washer and use a torque wrench and torqe the banjo bolt to it's proper torque spec. You'll get a good seal everytime. I'm not to sure what the torque is on it but I'm sure it's in the FSM or someone here can post it for you.

I would go with new crush washers. Tape and rtv can cause more harm, easily plugging a small oil line hole. Mark
