I just installed my dejon tool 2gmaf about 2 weeks ago. now im starting to notice some oil leaks underneath the car. I can't tell where its coming from because it all over the place.
This mechanic guy that i know was at my house and told me that it was because i put a little breather filter on the valve cover. I've seen people do this before. He tried to tell me that it was causing pressure in the rest of the engine and making oil come out everywhere else. it didn't really make sense at all because its just a vent that would normally just go into the intake pipe.....

so, is he correct?? and also is there a better way to deal with that little pipe sticking out of the valve cover??? Thanks for you help guys!!

He's wrong.

Instead of a filter install a catch can.

Clean the engine off and try and pin point the oil leaks.

no he was not kidding... and yes he is an idiot. or he at least doesnt know anything about DSMs. but i'll try that filter also.
Thanks
