Oil gauge read high

I was wondering if it was normal for the oil pressure gauge to read around 100 while driving aroung town? It does go down to around 75 while cruzing down the highway.

depends what your RPMs are at.
what oil you are using
and if your motor is warm or not.

The gauge is autometer and it stays around 100 psi from 1,000 rpms all the way to red line, until i start to cruz at a certin speed for a while. Iam using valvoline oil 10w-30.
