oil filter SS line leaking?..

I posted a question on getting an SS filter line that relocates to the oil filter a while back, I ordered the line #17334 and got it all the way on, except for on the oil filter line...for me to COMPLETELY tighten the adapter that goes in the oil filter housing, the adapter is turned in towards the housing, and so I can not get the ss line onto the adapter. Is there another 90 degree fitting to get it pointing back outwards? ive been searching the forums and looking online, but haven't really had luck finding anything... all help appreciated!

I know when I installed mine it felt tight and was pointing in the wrong direction also, but I was able to thread it in some more without hurting anything in order to get it to face the correct way.
