alright, upon trying to get my feed line tightened on the head, it began to strip out the aluminum, and actually took out a spring of metal. so now, instead of factory feed hole from the left side of block, i set it up like in the pic, out of the front. now im looking for a very positive answer with info to back it up. the summary of my question is, does oil feed the same pressure out the left (stock feed location) as opposed to the hole right around the corner in front of the block?

oh, this is just a pic someone else took, i was just using it to show the location mine is. im using banjo fittings that came with the slowboy ss line. just needed to know if i could feed from there as i didnt know if it was out of route or something to affect pressure.

update: I got an email from slowboy racing and they said the pressure wasnt the same and i should go with a 2g style hose. however, he told me previously its bad for my turbo (mitsu)....

Ok, now no one seems to know. I now ask the Wisemen. :|

Sorry, which part of"Yup"did you not comprehend? We sometimes use this term for "Yes" out here in the West.

It's the same damned passage.

   :p

i've never tested oil pressure from the front of the head but i would assume it would be the same! why don't you buy some fittings and check it!

damn defiant, you know, i want to be precautious, especially after slowboy racing said they heard it was bad in the past, but wasnt sure...... now i know. " OK "

I am using that exact port for my SBR-GT30r, I have zero problems with it.

Are you running a BB turbo or Non-BB turbo?

Both of those holes feed from the exact same place...don't worry about it. THe pressure will be fine.

If your turbo is not ball bearing you dont want to use the head as an oil feed source. The head does not provide enough oil pressure or flow volume to properly create a bearing surface for standard bearing turbos.

How about having the feed line attached at the oil filter housing? Will that be too high of a pressure?
Thanks

For non-BB the pressure will be fine.

For a BB turbo, the pressure could cause problems and even hinder performance.

NO BB, EVO III. It seem like 2g's get their oil from the filter housing, yes?
