Resolved Oil Cap Gasket Part Number? Help!

Well I read somewhere, that instead of purchasing a new oil cap ($15) you can just put a second gasket. I was wondering if anyone had the part number? Also, do you just replace the old gasket or double them up? Thanks.

Just go to any parts store. I got mine from a tractor dealership. Grab your oil cap on your way in and tell them to grab you a gasket that that fits it. You shouldn't spend more then $1.

You shouldn't need 2 gaskets, The reason that they leak is because they dry up and get hard and don't make a propper seal. You could put 2 on, but I would start off with 1 new one.
