the installation guide says you need a bypass jet....now i have 2 jets. i take it one is the flare jet....and the other is the bypass jet. how do you know which is which?

well....thanks alot people. found out that i never had one in my kit. but for all the newbies that might run into this problem. the jet that has 42 etched on it....is the bypass jet. the other is the actual flare jet.

Sorry..I hadn't been on here to check the nitrous forum lately. If I would of seen your question, I would of answered it. First though, I would of needed a bit more of a description as to what you were looking for...jet as in the pill I suppose is what you were meaning? And having a 42 etched on it, that really must be a pill...so I don't see the flare jet and the other jet you were meaning. The wet kits have two, the dry kits have one, you should of gotten a sheet with your kit that told you what size pill to put into each jet to get the right mixture for nitrous and the shot.

well, a dry kit comes with two jets or pills. one goes to the thing that you drill into your intake. (that jet is a flare jet) the other goes into a Tee that you tap into a vacuum and fuel line with. (thats supposed to be a bypass jet) the bypass jet is just a flare jet...with a base setting for some reason. i cant quite figure all of the details with this thing yet. al i know do know for certain right now, is that i need the bypass jet or .42 flare jet...which ever you want to call it. in order to install this kit. one thing i'm kinda nervous about is, that i dont know where to tapp into the fuel line. i keep getting mixed information as to if NT's have a return fuel line or not. or if we even have a FPR. and if we do, where it is.

i just hope this part comes in before thursday, so i can go to the track on Friday. today, i'm getting my whole fuel sysyem checked as well as a compression test. in preporation for this kit.
