Just replaced my alternator yesterday, so I had the battery disconnected. Last night the car's off-boost performance was less then steller. I'm not sure if this is attributed to having the battery disconnected (and the ECU having to relearn fuel trims, or some other issue that has cropped up.

Mod list in profile is current.

Thanks in advance for the input.

Have you tried a blt, can you see fuel trims with a safc? I never used one, reconnect battery and try it again? Off boost what exactly is it doing? or not doing?

Did you verify the tune is still there. I read that the SAFC II saves it's data but something could have happened to it?

So it WAS running perfect/normal before disconnecting the battery and when you re connected it, it all went to crap?

It's stuttering around 2-3k just before boost comes on. ScanMaster is counting knocks when this happens.

Actually the first thing I checked after starting the car was the SAFC. The tune exists, however it was tuned after fuel trims had been learned. I might need to reset the computer and start from scratch.

Found the problem. Blew turbo mounting gasket. You know, that one between the turbo and the manifold. Problem solved.
