I cant find the soft pipes any were. I have a whole punishment racing FMIC with hard lines, but it will be a while before I can get it on, and the lines I have now are all old, cracked, and pretty sure leaking boost. What else can I use to cheaply replace the pipes until I have the time to install my FMIC.

And another fast question what is the size of that little line comming of the j-pipe.

It shouldn't take more than 4 hours to install the fmic easily doable on a weekend. I just installed my vrsf kit tonight in about 3 hours. The car did already have a fmic so I didn't have to cut the core support so that saved time. I have a stock smic setup I would sell as well pm me if interested.

Yea I read the articles on the FMIC install, but I go so school all morning and work all night so I have no free time during my day, but spring break is comming up so somewere around then I am going to start installing some stuff. The guy at autozone told me they sell hose my the foot but I did not think that It would be flexable enough and was wondering if there would be a cheaper alternataiv to use until I can get my hard pipes on.

Yea thats why I dont want to buy some off here, it would cost to much with shipping. The problem I am having is I am being robbed badly of my Horse power and gas mileage. I am getting 14mpg city, and I did a 0-60 time of 11 sec, in a AWD talon. I figure putting new lines in would help a lot, I never thought to replace them because I have hardones already, but it just seems to be getting worse so I need something to work for some time. But I want to do a full tune up as well so I can figure what is killing my performance. Other than my old lines I have a bad gasket between my 02 housing and my DP, that would be changed when I install my exhaust.

If you can get radiator hose in the right size then that can be used as temporary. The flex in the ones sold by foot is decent.

Thats what I was thinking, I jsut was unsure if that would be flexable enough, it is 1.75 in Diameter right?

You could contact strictly modified in schaumberg or boostin performance, I can't remember where he's at but I'm sure they both could hook you up with some stock pipes. They are both pretty close to you.

Yea I know boostin, I been there a few times. They are an hours drive, I dont want to drive that far for temporary pipes LOL. I will see what I can do with radiator hose

Naw i can do it myself LOL I just was wondering if you know of the top of your head, thats what I think they are tho

LOL my profile pic was taken at boostin

Have you done a Boost leak test to even confirm that is your problem? 11 second 0-60 is SUPER BAD. Sounds like there just might be another problem.

trust me if you way my pipes you would understand why I dont need to do a leak test to know they are leaking. What else could cause my car to be like that? I use 93 gas, oil and trans fluid change, jsut got all new timming belt and components last summer, new plugs/wires, I have 390cc injectors with a 13g (i have an auto trans with a shift box). Like I said the pipes are worn and cracked, I have a blown gasket between my o2 and DP, and my turbo creeps up after 10 psi to about 14psi and my car starts having a Seizure. So when I tried for my time I short shifted 1st to keep my boost from creeping up (it is fine in other gears). Also this is not a track time, it was recorded with GPS and everthing
