Im having a problem, when I start my 1g first run of the day or when shes completely cooled off, she runs fine. For the entire time it is on. Even if Im driving for the whole day (like across the state). As long as it doesnt get shut down its fine. But when I shut it off and get back in like, 5 maybe 10 min later she runs on 3 cyl. And wont clear up. I also get a CEL. I just moved to this side of the state a couple of weeks ago and money is really tight, so I can't (nor do I want to) justify spending $85 just to hook up a datalogger to pull a code I already have the meanings for. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anyone in the seattle area with a datalogger thats willing to help a brther out? I do all of my own work so this tall charge is rediculus, to me. I love this car so much! I just want it to f***ing run! :barf: :dsm:

my car used to do this. once i took out my dsmlink and 650's in favor of a stock ecu and stock injectors it stopped.

I believe if you hook up an analog voltmeter to the 12th pin and ground ground, you will get the codes. Not sure about the 90's though. Anyway, the codes will be long pulses for the tens digit and short pulses for the 1's place. For example for an ignition fault code, you would get 4 long and 4 short pulses, or code 44.

Thank you for that advice aswell. You guys really are trying. But I have a Chiltons that has all the meanings to the trouble codes and the pulse widths for the anolog volt meter diagnostic. Problem is, Im new to town and dont have my tools, that being one of them.

Goto walmart and buy a $3 voltmeter.

We can't help if you don't have the means to give us the code.

I will say that my car has the same exact problem. The code my car shows is a fuel pressure solenoid. I have my boost gauge hooked up to the FPR (no choice, I don't have the evap canister fittings on the TB) so the boost and FP gauge don't work after a hot start. After a few min it sorts its' self out.

So I wasnt doing anything different when one day it just cleared up. Im beginning to think it had something to do with the knock sensor. The other day I did the usual, fill the tank with the 92 octain, drive off thinking I paid good money for good gas. Then I thought about it and decided that I would add some octaine booster to it so I bought some of that 108 octain boost and my car has never run so good! It runs perfectly smooth and starts up perfect every time. I dont get it? that couldnt have been the problem. Would running the piss out of it (rapping it out to practically red line) clear her throat? I know that its not smart to do that but at this point all I have wrapped up in this car is like 1 k so if it blows Im not too concerned. That and the car has like 201 k on it. For now though Im happy. It runs!:thumb:

Funny thing, I used to work for a lube shop and that was the first thing that I did when I bought the car. But the fuel system treatment that I used came in two parts the standard tank bottle and the asperated part that gets hooked to the vacume line and sucked through the intake manifold. You'd think that that would have solved the problem. I even changed the fuel filter and that didnt help either. I dont know what happened but it works great now! Im worried its about to break big!

My 1G GSX also has a similar problem. I was getting a code thrown for the injector circuit. We replaced all the injector o-rings/seals and my MAF sensor, but I still have an intermittent rough feeling during acceleration and a cel.
