Odd roar from open downpipe.

I have a broken downpipe right at the flex section at full boost I hear a roaring sound kind of like a blow gun on an air compressor is it just the waste gate letting excess boost out kind of like an external o2 dump it sounds pretty cool.

Yea it's just the wastegate.

Yep thats what I thought just making sure because the downpipe has been broke for about a week now and tonight is the first time I noticed maybe I wasnt getting full boost.
