Alrighty guys, want to help someone serious about the money put into this car look at my profile then youll know my obsession with this dam thing. Okay, I am running across some major questions on the Jeep throttle body conversion that did not occur to me. Most people that do the throttle body conversion have stock intake manifolds.
I have a obx intake manifold that I ported out and inside of intake manifold. I am going to take the intake manifold to my favorite machine shop that I have spent 3,000 dollars with and get the flange resurfaced(because the dum company decided to chrome the flange and make it so not smooth), resurface were the throttle body sits, have the hole were the throttle body sits on the intake manifold bored to 63mm(because my throttle body is a bored one that I got from a jeep machine shop) and have them transfer the sensor and hose fitings from the stock intake manifold.
Now here is my question there is a big sensor on the very end of the intake manifold opposite of the throttle body end will I have to put that on my obx intake manifold and if so how the hell am I going to do that? Question 2 I looked on two different 2GNT forum logs on the conversion one says to cut off the hose pipe and drill were it was on the Jeep throttle body and JB weld were the pipe fiting was shut. Is this true I mean seriously true do I do this? quesion number 3 I put both sensors that were on my stock 420a throttle body on the Jeep throttle body correct? Any body that awnsers these thanks and remember your helping someone that is beyond serious about this car.
