Does anyone know why when I plug anything into the diag. port it doesn't connect. I've used snap-on's diag. equipment, autozone's little Action orange code reader. Nothing... I need it to work so I can use a logger. Fuses to check? Wires to check? Anything?

Thanks a million to anyone who can help me!
Brian,

This might sound dumb but is the plug in all of the way correctly? i know when i have to connect mine i have to hold while i push the scanner tool end in to connect because the connector side in the car isnt tight and just moves around...just a thought :thumb: but i do not think their are any fuses or what not but i might be wrong!...good luck!

r u using the pocketlogger software? If so, u have to adjust the bit rate to get the highest possible rate. If its too low than it wont connect. Its real easy and takes 5 minutes. If u have the pocketlogger software, go to their website and search the FAQ or help section and its in there.

Good Luck.

Same problem here. I lost my ability to connect with either my Pocketlogger or with DSMlink. I had suspected something with my laptop but when the Palm couldn't connect either, the Car became the suspect.
I have no fix and the electrical issues have become worse.

In my case, yes. I'm talking about losing the ability to connect with gear that is set-up tested and used frequently.

well i have had to do it a few times sometimes even 5 minutes after setting it up so try that and see what happens.
