if i connect the my wideband to my stock ecu an remove the stock o2sensor? will the ecu/ car function fine.

if you use the sensor only then yes. just wire it up the same so you don't throw any codes, if you're running the wideband gauge than don't mess with the stock o2 wiring.

I'm looking to replace the stock with the wideband gauge and everything would that cause problems with the ecu

not if you weld a bung into the exhaust. its a preference where but we put an innovate lt1 sensor in the front o2 spot. you can have a bung welded right by it or wherever. in you put it in the front or rear location then you'll throw an o2 heater code. leave them both plugged in and add wideband to it

If I have the Esm link program can I emlimiate the sensors and just leave the wideband

If you install the wideband sensor in the rear o2 location, then you can use DSMLink to not throw a cel for the rear o2. This way you would also have an extra source to wire in another input down the road. Doing this would not cause you to have to run narrowband simulation,
If you choose to wire the wideband in the front o2 location in place of the stock o2 sensor, then you would have to have to wire in the wideband signal per the directions provided below:
http://www.dsmlink.com/wiki/mtxinstall

I would suggest whichever route you go, to wire in the 0-5v signal so it can be logged via DSMLink. I have mine located in place of the front o2. My wideband has narrowband simulation, so I wired in both the 0-1v signal (for ecu signal) and the 0-5 signal to log the wideband in DSMLink. If you use the rear o2 location, just be sure you have no exhaust leaks upstream.
