Ok, I got a HKS high power exhaust from ebay made for an EVO I. The exhaust bends and everything are the same (except hangers) but due to it being from Japan there is no hole for the o2 sensor. What size nut fits onto the o2 sensor? I want to be able to drill a hole for the o2 sensor then weld a nut to the top. I would take it out myself but I have a neighbor that has a shop and he's going to move the hangers and he said just leave everything installed because it would make it easier for him. John

The appropriate way to do it is to just purchase an o2 sensor bung from any vendor. They go for less than 10 dollars shipped and all you will need to do is drill a hole in your pipe and weld that in place. Since I have to use a 7/8" open end to get my o2 off, it could possibly be that the threading is SAE. If you need to purchase a nut (not a bung), you can always just go to your local ACE hardware and use their thread sizing charts. :thumb:

I think what I'm going to end up doing is just going to autozone with some nuts and telling them that I need an o2 sensor for a talon and just trying to fit a nut onto it.

The thread size for the o2 sensor is 18mm. I have a brand new o2 bung that I never used if you want to buy it. Pm me if you are interested.
Thank you sir :thumb: , I would buy it from you but we're going to do it tomorrow which is why I couldn't order one online in the first place. John

I think the O2 sensor is fine thread and I don't think you'll easily find a nut locally with the correct thread.
Hence the "bung" route.

We ended cutting out the stock o2 bung with a torch and welding it on. So everything worked out. Thanks for the help guys :thumb: . John
