I was wondering if anybody had experience with this o2 housing. If so how is the quality.

My BIGGEST question is would there be any kind of clearance issues with the tial 38mm wastegate installed. I really want the nice turbo sound with out the dump because after running one for a year and a half it gets really old. Any help is greatly appreciated.

youre going to have to get a slim fan for the driver side
I had already planned on that but my big question is whether or not the power steering would get in the way.

Edit: Also what are the advantages/disadvantages of running the wastegate off the o2 housing rather than running it off the exhaust manifold.

That looks to be a SLS o2, they have top notch quality. As far as clearance I would say go talk with SLS (if it's their o2 housing), Im sure they have had these questions before, and could awnser them. As for the advantages I would say room is the big reason.
EDIT: The #1 post on this has a pic with a similar o2 housing. It kicks the wastegate out away from the alt. so I think clearance with it shouldn't be a problem >>> http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=242820

It'll bolt up, no problems.

As an FYI.. an ATM dumped External WG sounds nothing like a O2 dumped Internal WG.

The External sounds like a Jet's whoosh :rocks: , wheras an Internal sounds more like a Dump Truck's exhaust brake all-the-time :barf:
