I was going to tighten down the nuts on the studs where the o2 housing meets the downpipe and ended up completely stripping one and almost did the same to the other. Now I have a pretty good exhaust leak as you would expect but was wondering if I could find some bolts to replace the studs, I found bolts to replace the stud where the 02 housing meets the turbo...would these work??

Most people end up taking the turbine housing stud off just because it makes removing and installing the turbo and the exhaust manifold easier. I would use OEM bolts though or at the very least grade 10+ bolts.

IIRC the o2 housing nut/bolts were 14mm while the DP nuts were 19mm. I can almost guarantee they won't work.

EDIT: Should have elaborated, I remember them being a different diameter stud/bolt, but not the exact size :p

That's just the size of the nut. IIRC (hah) it should be a 12mm x 1.25 or so. Best way to do it is to take the nut to a local hardware store and match it up on the thread guide they have there. If you stripped the stud, you could always just retap it -or- my preference, double nut it to take it out and replace with a new stud. ACE hardware by my house actually sells Grade 8 automotive studs. :thumb:
