NX Wet Kit

Im running 18psi on the stock 14b with a 2g ported mani and 2 1/2 buschur downpipe. Im putting a 55 shot on my car. I launch at 7000 rpm ( dont ask ). When im waiting to launch holding the rpms my afc shows 100% throttle postition even though its not on the floor. Im just wondering with the kit while im waiting to launch if its going to be spraying while im sitting there ? I dont want to inject the nitrous while im just sitting there and I dont want to have to arm it after I launch. So my question is will it be injecting nitrous at 7000 rpm or is my afc retarded ?

Sounds like you have a bad Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Mine does the same thing. I'll be in neutral and it's at 100%, WOT and at 0% etc etc etc. Really bouncing. Check the vfaq.com on the testing of the TPS, and replace if necessary. I highly recommend it however, as it may spray on ya while your sitting still. Never know.

NX kits come with a microswitch, they activate when the throttle is wide open (depending on where/how you mount the switch) so they do not depend on an electrical value or voltage to enable the kit.

What he said is correct. Unless you wire the nitrous to activate on throttle position, the activation is completely mechanical. You won't spray until the throttle blade itself hits WOT (if you set the microswitch up right of course.)
