420A NV-T350 Rebuild Manual

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

To make this manual accessible to EVERYONE, here are snapshots of the entire 34 page NV-T350 rebuild manual.

If you have any questions about such a process, feel free to send me a private message. I am experienced with building these transmissions and have multiple rebuilt examples in Alabama. You can also message @twicks69 since he is a known DSM transmission guru.

And please note that almost all of the listed OEM tools are not necessary to assemble or disassemble this transmission. It has been done many times with substitute tools or fabricated tools.

If your case isn't going back together, then something is misaligned. If everything is lined up with it's proper resting place, the case should at least close 90% by hand strength, and snugging some bolts will close it the rest of the way. I've done it alone many times, but having an extra set of eyes and hands could be extremely helpful. The biggest difficulty for me was getting the shift rails to meet their bushings in the case - and that's probably your issue. Check the ends of the shifter rails and help guide them into the center of the bushings. They can have a lot of slack especially in a worn transmission and will need help to line up.

Also, for everyone asking: I cannot redistribute the original DVD video guide for assembling the transmission. That is considered piracy and I would be sued to the highest extent for doing so.
