Ordered my new IC this morning. Waiting for that damn Ron Shearer to get back on my pistons. But ASAP they will be ordered. Goes in for a Chromoly 10 point as soon as I get it stripped out. Progress is moving a little quicker now

Um, try to talk me out of owning 3 old turbo cars that take up all my time? I could devote a lot more of my time if I only had the Talon, but they're all so much fun!
Either that or just slow down so I can catch up!

Tell me about it. The EVO X, 14B fwd, and my damn auto awd. So much to do and so little time.

Well it looks like i will be missing yet another race this year

The turbo is out at Precision getting looked at after noticing some smoke from the exhaust and i have to yet again diagnose a trans issue

With only 1 race left for the year i can't help but admit that i'm getting a bit frustrated and have been seriously considering moving on from the Evo platform........

Thought that i was ahead of the curve for this year now more set-backs!

There is always a light at the end of the tunnel Pat. There were many times where I almost threw in the towel, but if you stick with it, then end results will be worth it.

I do like the Porsche, so I dont think you should get rid of it. I may have to slow down so I stop breaking parts though

They weren't too pleased with single digit times on a weds night. Something about the track not being prepped and safety. I told them it was AWD, it should be going straight the whole way down the track.

I knocked off two 9.3s@150mph in the elimination rounds. I lost to exospeeds FWD Honda via reaction time by .022 Still ended up with a semi-finals plaque and backed up my first 9.3 with another 9.3. I do want to add that the little blue hatchback didn't get me this time around. I got a bye run first round (I believe due to being #1 qualifier?), then ran Brian Brocks consistent 9.6 hatchback. I was amped after Hien came by on the return road to let me know I ran a 9.3 with the win!

Travis (greedypimp) ran an 11.6 or 11.7 on street tires. Some slicks or DRs and that car will run mid 11s all day.

I think myself, Hien, and Johnny ran 9.7s in the 2nd round of qualifying. The ATP heads up class ended up being a 16 car field, but semi finalists got no $$ which doesn't make sense at all. When the field is doubled something usually happens with the class payouts.

Anywho, still a fun day and the car ran good even with a late change and TnT the night before Triz and Killa DSM helped me with a lifter swap

I'm working on a vid of my passes, should be up tomorrow.

I think the best pass of the day was when ted got a buy run and did a 20mph trap speed really showing how great that paint looks like to everyone all the way down the track....
