So... noob question :D. I have my larger injectors dialed in, MAF calibrated, getting compression/leak down tests and boost leaks double checked tomorrow. What do I need to do at this point to start turning up the boost? I still have a narrowband (I know, I know...) so is it even safe to turn it up at this point? I'm currently running 15lbs on a 16g and everything is running smoothly, I would like to get closer to the efficiency range though. Thanks everyone :dsm:

Not sure what you're think on the efficiency stuff but 16G's are basically a 2X pressure ratio turbo so assuming sea level you're already in the middle of the efficiency hump of the compressor.

Looked at the compressor maps again, I see what you're saying.

If I were you, I would just wait for the wideband. So you can keep an eye on things while your boost happy.:thumb:

Yea no way to dial it in without a wideband but I have seen a million guys run around 19psi for a long time without any tune and do just fine. Of course its not making the power it should or running as efficiently as it can, but your not in danger of damaging anything.
