I built my non turbo Laser RS a little over a year ago using the bone stock internals including the 9:1 CR n/t pistons and both n/t intake and exhaust cams. The only internal modifications are ARP hardware and a cometic headgasket. The car ran a 13.9@102mph last year on street tires with the following engine mods.

14B turbo@10psi
MBC
K&N filter
2.5" open downpipe
SSAC external wastegate dump
SAFC1
255lph pump
stock 450cc injectors
sidemount with stock rubber IC pipes
stock suspension

This year i've added a pacesetter tubular exhaust manifold, big FMIC with all hardpipes and plan on tuning the car on 20PSI with a few other supporting mods. I've ran the car on 15psi before with minimal knock on pump gas. Does anyone else on here have an internally bone stock n/t 4G63 thats boosted? And if so what numbers have you ran?

I unknowingly went 12.29 on a stock N/T shortblock. I was told it was a stock turbo block on my 1g AWD when I bought it. Turns out it wasn't. Rings went shortly after that.

Hell yeah man, im sure you were using factory turbo cams right? What kind of charger were you running?

Nice results for only 10psi!

I'm very pleased with the results. The only other thing I plan on for now engine wise is maxxing the 14B. I'm gonna see how much more weight I can strip out of the car and do some suspension work

^ That is impressive. Keep that tune in check though, the n/t piston ring lands appear to be the weak spot, any detonation and they go bye bye in my experience. But of course, that's just an excuse to upgrade anyways right :D

Thanks guys! Yeah I actually have brand new 2G pistons on 1G big rods setting in my garage with acl race bearings and all new gaskets. I'm just gonna see how fast I can go on the stock n/t junk first though...Might break some sorta record or somethin LOL
