Noises From Rear-end

Okay, not really sure about this one. My only guess is something loose or warped rotors? But here's my problem my 1995 TSi AWD has a kind of a grinding noise when driving it. The noise usually tends to happen when I brake, but it happens at random times too. The noise is definitely from the rear end though.

Any help is appreciated.

A grind could be your brakes dragging. More of a whine would be the rear end.. But with you saying happens after you brake, my guess is to look there.

I just replaced the pads less then 1000 miles ago, do you guys think that it's going to be my rotors?

Did you replace or cut the rotors when you did the pads? Did you clean and re-grease the pins that the caliper slides on?

Sounds like the brakes are hanging up somewhere.

No, I didn't touch the rotors. I was just under the car and I found a couple of odd things, but I doubt they are this noise. One of them is probably the other noise it makes. My piping from the gas door to the tank has a bracket which is not bolted on because the head snapped off one of the bolts and then I saw that for some reason some of the bushings were all taped up? And I took a wire brush the metal pieces that go over the bracket the caliper slides on to if that's what you mean.
