My bov use to go woosh and never flutter before i installed a new intake pipe cause my old shitty 1g rubber one was torn up....anyways since i put the new intake pipe and put a new longer bov hose on since the old one wouldnt reach with the new pipe when i let off the gas at wot i hear a fluttering sound when before i heard a woooosh sound like how it always been?

i noticed my vacuum line from my mbc going to the wastegate has a bend in it right where it has to plug up to the wastegate because the new intake pipe is over it squeezing it down a lil maybe its causing blockage?

also the bov hose im using is a flex hose with a spring inside of it that i got from autozone since i couldnt find anything else but its a bit longer then my stock one so im thinkin it could be the hose?

before the hose for my bov would come around from the left side to the intake pipe but now with the new pipe i had to bring it around from the right side but does it matter?

you're hearing compressor surge - might need to upgrade to an adjustable blow off valve

u dont think its the flex hose like the spring inside?

i dunno how i got compressor surge just by replacing my intake pipe from a torn up rubber shitty one to a hard pipe? and before i installed the new pipe i never had surge so this is wierd i mean i never had problems with the stock 1g bov or leaks at 20psi.

If the hose going from the bov to the intake is too small or kinked it will cause it to flutter. Or if the bov spring is set too tight/crushed too much.

is your MBC plumbed into the same line as the BOV? if so then that could be the problem, especially if your line is kinked anywhere. go get 5 feet of new vacuum line and re plumb everything. like the others have said, it sounds like your BOV is adjusted too tightly

no my mbc is not running off the bov line.

I found one of my intercooler piping couplers has a tear in it and is leaking can that mess with the bov?

I guess its possible, depending on where your bov gets signal and which coupler is torn.

But just fix it and find out LOL, not like you can just leave it.
