Long story short, I just finished putting a new motor in the car, but it will not start. Here's a list of things I've already checked:
1. Spark plugs and wires are good (grounded them and checked for visible spark, plugs are new)
2. Injectors are getting signal from the ECU (tested each connector with a known good injector and each one produced pulses).
3. Coils, transistor, and CAS are known to be good, was using them in the old motor before it exploded.
4. CAS is in phase
5. No DTCs
6. Fuses are good.
The car cranks and sounds like it really wants to start (sputtering), but it just doesn't. It's not like it starts then dies immediately or anything like that. Tried it with varying levels of open throttle and while tweaking the CAS during cranking, still nothing. The car is running E85, by the way, which I know makes the car difficult to start at times, but not to this extent.
The only things I have not checked are engine compression and cam timing; I bought this motor from a reputable person and pretty much assuming that those should be the least of my worries.
Any ideas are welcome.
