no start after manual awd swap

well like the tittle says my car wont start i connected the two starter wires (both black and yellow) and it turns over fine. It does have spark and the plugs smell of fuel. :confused: it will pop but only once when you first try to start it. im just noth sure what to do anymore. any help would be of great help! Thanks Guys, Jason

it could have nothing to do with the swap im stumped guys could it be the ecu by chance ive had similar problems because of an ecu before
 
yes check your ecu i had a simalar problem with my first dsm, exactly the same problem, sheck that and if not check that all your sensors are hooked up and that you have no blown fuses, like the ones on the battery turmonal
 
i checked all the fuses all connectors and everything seems to be ok unless the connector on the manual trans has to be hooked up if so how would i wire this in. i think its just for reverse lights but i dont know... im gonna get ahold of an ecu and try it out wish me luck!
