no spark on 1/4 coil pack.....

Hi I own a '92 Laser RT awd

I have an issue with getting no spark to 1/4

I have replaced caps on ecu(even though I had it fully rebuilt in '05)2 days ago
Bought a BRAND NEW PTU
Checked all wires to and from coil pack to ptu connector.

What am I missing?

Could the CAS possible be a issue? I thought if the CAS was bad it just wouldnt give spark.

Have you tried changing the actual coil? I believe 1/4 share the same pack. Try that and see what happens. If you have any buddies with DSMs borrow a coil from them that you know is decent if they will let you.

Yes, check out that ignitor (aka power transistor). There is a good possibility that is your problem.

resolved it was the ecu.
