No Spark in 1 & 4

I had a 6bolt put into my 97gst and it started fine before everything was put back together. The guy hooked everything up and it still started. Then he put fluid in and it didn't start. He told me that there was no spark in cylinders 1 and 4. What could be the problem? Is it the coil or something else? Thanks.

Well, you can always start by checking the coilpack. It takes two minutes and all you have to do is plug your leads into the actual coil. Is the CAS wired correctly?

It could be the cas because I'm not sure on the condition of it. I'll check when I get a chance. Where can I get a new CAS?

Sounds like the coil pack to me. you can get a CAS from a yard, the classifieds or eBay for a couple of places. Mark

You may also want to check the power transistor/ignitor. I had mine go bad on 2-cyls on the highway. When you start your car and try to rev it does the tach look funny as it moves?
