i changed my timing belt and put in a new cps sensor, now i have no spark any help??

Well, it probaly has to do with one of those two things. The car did run before.

Check the belt, make sure it is moving LOL and not broke.
Check the sensor make sure it's in right and plugged in.
Check fuses possibly to just in case somehow you fried one.

People usually look over the obvious.

checked the belt and the sencor all fuses and nothin still wont fire rans fine then timing belt skipped and broke the balance shaft belt changed that and the timing belt reallined all the timing marks plus a new crank position sencor "brand new" hooked up fine still not firing pulled both first and second plugs and grounded the spark plug no spark.. i am now at a loss and its starting to give me a head ache :|

what is the trigger plate?? is that the plate that is inbetween the crank timing gear and the crank to balance shaft timing gear??

and would the sensor if bad kill power to the coil pack??

balance shaft belt broke from what i am "Assuming" was a backfire from a Tbelt skip, car ran good for 5/10 seconds after changing the water pump didn't reinstall automatic tensioner right.. herd a little bang "backfire" then a pop "assuming it was the balance shaft belt breaking" car shut off.. as i was tearing down i accidentally broke the cps so i replaced it put everything back together and now no spark "wont start" so i am not to sure how bad it slipped.. if it did i dont think any rods/valves were bent so i am not sure it did skip, i was to ignorant to look and see if marks were off before tearing everything down.

i definitely know its a spark problem from something i am not even getting a sputter or anything absolutely no spark.. my buddy said he would come over today with his snapon computer but he still hasn't showed up.. waiting game as of right now..

WOOHOO!!!!!! Yes! i finally got it running, the crank sensor was on upside down DOH! i feel like a total dumb@$$ :ohdamn::banghead: i know a few of you said to make shure it was correctly installed but i figured there was only one way for the damn thing to fit in there i guess i should think twice next time.. but thank you fellas and ladies if there were any, for all your help and brainstorming to help me get my baby back up and running. She even runs better now than she was.. Now i am just looking for the bottom and middle timing belt cover sections for a 2g 7 bolt 4g63 so if any of you guys got some covers laying around and want to get rid of um hit me up.. THANKS AGAIN YA'LL!!!!! :hellyeah:
