No Power without Car running!!

Today my friend and i were working on my 90 GSX 5speed, When he put the battery in backwards (the Positive went to the negative terminal, And the Negative went to the positive terminal) when he did this he said the negative cable sparked when connected to the positive termial (with the positive already touching the negative terminal) and he told me to start the car, well i did (before either of us knew anything was wrong), But nothing happened. When i looked at the battery connections i noticed that it was backward, because the terminals were far away from the connectors, and he had them streched across the battery to reach. Well i switched the connections. The car starts up fine, BUT the popup headlights do not come on without the car on, and also the auto seatbelts do not come down after driving the car when you turn it off. I think the battery may have blown a fuse, but im not sure which one(s). Please let me know.

Pick up a fuse tester, they are under $5. Start with that. You may have also blown some relays and/or melted some wires. Best of luck, you're lucky the battery didnt shoot out of the car.

Dude the pop-ups should go up and down with the car turned to the 2nd position and the car is not running. However, the actual head lights will NOT come on unless the car is running...its supposed to be like that. I guess it was an early headlight safety shutoff incase you left your lights on. The seatbelts don't come down until you open the door. Sounds like everything is okay if I understood you.

Im sorry, the headlights do not even popup. And the dome light will not come on until i have the car running (even if i manually turn it on).

Well then it seems as though you've just blown a fuse. Go through and check all your relays as well.

None of the fuses are blown inside the car (on the drivers side floor) or under the hood (on both the left side, and top right side of engine bay). Any other suggestions?
