yesterday morning when i went to start my car
it would just make a noise
then
the headlights and interior lights would blink a few times
after a jump
it works again but
anti-lock light is on.
please help

Sounds like your abs is messing up. Try unplugging the abs fuse. Or disconnect then recconect the battery.

yea so , basically, the ecu was running all night and this morning the car was completely dead, but after a jump it was okay and the ecu turned off whenever i turned off my car, but now its on again, and im afraid to wake up to a dead car again and maybe no neighbours to help out

Unplug the battery until you figure out the problem and get a battery charger. Other than that, do what was suggested.

okay, so basically the ecu is always running on the car even after i turn it off, it kills the battery entirely
i just unplugged the battery, waited 5mins, and pluged it back in, just waiting it out hopefully it works.

Its a relay going bad if it shuts off every once in a while and other times it stays on. I did custom audio video for a while and have seen a few relays do this. There is an arm on the relay that is bent normally but is made to flex, so when the relay is off the arm is up and when energized the arm is pulled down and the circuit is energized. Either the arm is worn out and not disconnecting or else the electromagnetic coil inside the relay is failing.

I would say it could also be that your ignition is messed up and when you turn the key backwards, to turn the car off, that it is keeping the circuit energized. In a case like that though all your dash lights would stay on and the motor wouldnt shut off, due to the signal wire for the ecu relay also controls 90% of all the relays for the electronics in the car.

how would i go on, about replacing the relay? would it be an easy fix?
