If I cant figure this out, I am going to have to suck it up and take it to a dealer. My mechanic has spent almost 2 weeks and has not figured it out. Basically, my headlights do not turn on when i turn them on via column switch. Everything is good, bulbs, fuses, and relays. I thought it was the column switch, but the turn signals still work. I found out that there is no power going to the taillight fuse and the headlight fuse in the fusebox under the hood, which would make sense why it is not working. I ran a jumper wire directly to that fuse, and they came on. I printed out the electrical diagram for our cars, and began to follow the wiring for the fuses, primarily the taillight fuse. Problem is, that diagram is useless, as there are different color wires than what I have, as well as missing wires. My mechanic says he is basically out of ideas. Anybody have any suggestions? Could the column switch be bad even though the turn signal switch works, and when I ran the jumper wire, I was able to use it to turn on and off the highbeams?
