So i was driving home today and my car just like stopped.... like i couldant rev it past 2000 rpms? so i zeroed every thing out on my safc b/c its not set right b.c im waiting for the pocketloggers formes to let me post questions. so i had to baby it home.. it was wierd thought my karman setting on my afc was frozen at like 3hz?? everything else would move and was working but not that???? it also seemed to be puttin out a hell of a lot of black smoke? so i really think its just my afc settings but i just wanna make sure.
any thoughts or tips. i know to already keep the afc zeroed out till i can get my logger working and to keep the boost at stock levels till then as well. but any other things to check or anything. i just dont want to blow my sh*t up ya know.

thanks alot!

It sounds like you have a boost leak!! Do a boost leak check, it sounds like you blew off a pipe pretty good! Good luck!

Yes, one of your IC pipes probably came off of another one. I would check down by the intercooler first, because mine keep coming off there. I dont know if the stock IC is too restrictive, or if my is just clogged somehow...but if i beat on my car, my piping keep coming un-done right before my IC. I have even put adhesive, plus an extra clamp on....and yes, it still comes loose. So now i have to carry a screw driver around where ever i go, or i have to drive 15 mph running very very rich.

:talon: im gonna have to go with him on this one...i was going an "unknown" speed on the freeway and my intercooler pipe blew off my j pipe and i lost ALL POWER...all i could do was keep starting it till i could get pulled over and stopped without wrecking the car...check all your intercooler pipes before anything else.:talon:
