90 plymouth laser 2.0 non turbo. The other day driving home in the rain my car died and would not start backup. I brought it home and let it sit for about a week tried it again still no start. I started checking some things such as fire and fuel.It had fire but no fuel. I figured the pump was out. Today I crawled under it pulled the pump out checked it and it worked. I put it back in and the car started right up. Why? I really dont want to take it down the road and get stranded. Anybody know what could cause a fuel pump to work stop and then work again without doing anything to it.
