I dont' know much about buying higher performance tires, and these 2 looked pretty nice. Tell me which one of these you would reccomend, or feel free to give me another reccomendation for a tire in this price range for 205/55/16. Thank your for your help in advance .

i have the cooper zeon 2xs tires Cooper Tires owns Falken and their new branch Zeon so my zeons are basically the same tire as the falken fk-451 same tred pattern and all but it just says zeon on it. i ahve them in 16's i luv them cant tell you how much of a difference it made since i was only 15 years old when i got my car and put them on so i didnt get to drive it much.

I had the FK-451 in a 225-45-17 on my 92 TSI AWD.

I wore them out fast. They were ok but nothing great

I liked the Toyo FZ4s I had better.

Toyo and Nitto are the same company.


My vote is on the Nitto.

umm i have had falken gta 205/35/16 and i just had soem nitto 450's and the falken were so much better i couldnt beleve it they were softer and sticky and the nittos sucked a$$ they are hard and junk i sold them 2 day but this is just my 2 cents

Are you using these tires year round? I assume you get snow in Idaho.
I can tell you from experience on my Sentra the NT450 suck in snow period. THe are a mediocre at best all season tire. I run snow tires in the winter now and when the Nittos are done will sue summer only tires. They hold the road fairly well, and have not worn fast either and were relatively cheap additionally.
Sorry I don't know anything about the Falkens.

I've got Falken Azenis tires on my car for summertime. I really like them. They are a very sticky tire.

I did quite a bit of reasearch on the tires I chose on www.tirerack.com and discount tire direct. The cheapest place that I found my tires was www.vulcantires.com (I think). The tire rack has very good specifications on their tires and I think that you can compare their different brands.

Try that out and see what you may find.
