Newbie to DSM LINK V3 ### HELP

I am new to DSM's and just bought some new parts for my 92 tsi awd, i got 20g turbo, 750's, walbro 255, punishment racing fmic, o2 dump, dsmlink v3. I was just wondering on how i use my new dsm link v3, i haven't got it in the mail yet and i already sent in my ecu to be chipped. Just figured i would gain some insight before it got here any info would be great thanks!

So you know, even if my car has the same setup as yours, my tune won't necessarily work well on your car. Each car is different, so you have to tune your car. There are some base maps you can leverage to help you tune, but there isn't anything out there that you can just upload and be done.

And then when you get access to the forums, there's a lot of good info on there. Once you get it and set up the basics, you can take a log and post it up on here and the link forums and ask for help.

thanks everyone for the good supporting info, and the attachments, i saved them to my desktop haha. I had one more question i haven't installed my injectors yet, and i bought them used with about 500 miles on them but he didn't have all the seals for them he said to use my stock ones which i didn't think sounded like a good idea. What should i do buy new ones or should i use the stock ones.

I would replace them. You can buy them here, just one of the many stores that sell them.

Ok I bought the Injector seal kit, is there anything else that i should know, or expect when i go to change the injectors? Or is there any special way to do these? Thanks again guys

I used this to change my injectors, took me all of maybe 10 min, its pretty simple, if you bought link from ecm tuning you should get an email with access to the forums before you even get you package, there is alot of info on there to get you started, definately replace your seals as your stock ones are probably hard pieces of plastic by now...you'll see what I mean when you pull them out, have fun....http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...438-how-change-your-lower-injector-seals.html.
