Hello all!

I have a 97 GST, and I was just wondering if there is any way to tell what cams I have in my car. I bought it from a friend of mine who's dad owns a car shop. He told me one of the mechanics there took off the valve cover to replace the seal and said the cams were not stock. I am about to take my valve cover off to paint it, is there any way to tell what cams i have, or if they even are aftermarket at all?

Thanks!!!

Good one, but I dont know who he is. I havent seen this friend of mine or been to his dad's shop in a long while since we are both off at college now.

Well, rats. So much for the easy way out. Next step would be to pull the cam cover and look at the cams, but I can't tell you where aftermakers mark their bumpsticks. On Datsuns, it was usually on the back end of the cam, not someplace it'd show easily.
