i installed Accel's Thundersport wires and put in some NGK BPR7ES plugs in my car. my low end response seems a little better but the top end seems weak. i gapped my plugs at .29 then put them at .32 like the plugs before. It didn't change it much, but didn't make it worse. i checked the resistance of each wire before i installed them. they are as follows from shortest wire to longest (this is overall resistance, not ohms/ft).
1 - 179.6
2 - 277
3 - 327
4 - 353
the old wires were...
1 - 6.28k
2 - 6.50k
3 - 7.55k (yes i double checked this reading)
4 - 7.00k
could the huge change in resistance be affecting my top end? also i read this thread... http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186069&page=2&pp=25&highlight=spark+plug+gap
am i using the wrong plugs? any advice, suggestions will be appreciated.
