Let me start off explaining what mods I have, as this may help with opinions. I have a 9:1 Wiseco/eagle 2.0L motor. I have an eprom ecu with stage 3 chip set for 780s with a set of PTE 780cc injectors. My turbo setup consists of a t3/t4 SC 61. Now onto my problem. I recently had an issue with my car running extremely rich, even though my car ran well previously with this same set up. The only thing I did was swapped my 50 trim for the turbo that is on there now. With the new turbo, my car runs like garbage. I have checked for boost leaks and fixed the minor leaks I did have. However, the car continues to run very rich. It seems as if the car is just dumping fuel as it boils out black smoke. This was never an issue with my old turbo set up. Earlier today I was outside putting a few things back together, and noticed that every time I tried to rev the car the motor would bog down when on WOT. The car revs like normal if I gradually increase the throttle with the exception of a raspy like sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say that the chip setup is what’s killing you. While I do not know a whole lot about how chips are set up it just sounds like the turbo was part of the equation when the chip was set up. If I am totally off base then accept my apology

I wouldn't think that was the cause since the car ran fine with the chip and the old 50 trim I had on the car. All I did was remove the 50 trim and install the t3/t4. There are no boost leaks as stated above either. Any other ideas?

Unfortunately, no the car hasn't ran well enough for me to drive it. The car just dumps fuel there is thick black smoke pouring out the back. I attempted to start it today and was unsuccessful. For some reason now it will not start. It turns over fine and acts like it wants to start but won't.

Check your coolant temp sensor. If it is unplugged or bad the ecu will attempt to enrich the mix to compensate for the dense air. We had this problem for a while and it took a looger to tell us what to fix.

I agree with the wiseman, go over all connections that you may have messed with and make sure everything is ok. Do you have any way to adjust your afr and do you have a wbo2?

True, when this sensor goes bad (or comes unplugged) the ECU will see a default reading of -40 degrees causing all kinds of enrichment across all ranges of throtlle.

First off, fill out your vehicle profile so we know what you are dealing with.

Check connection to mas/maf, maft, rpm signal wire to maft, cts, and o2 sensor.

Os sensor was my next guess as well
