My car's got the original head from 1990, and some rocker bearings just broke, there are roller bearings laying everywhere inside the valve cover, and some cam lobes are pretty deeply scored.. so that's obviously got to be fixed. I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on slowboy's built heads vs. rebuilding, and what all I would likely have to replace in a rebuild.

Thanks,
Justin

A lot of it depends on your goals. If I were you, I would get a slowboy racing head. Stage 6 is their highest and that is what I would get. Then again my goals might be higher than yours. Im going more for a race car.

You could also just get their Stage 1 head. It is stock except for better valves and a 3 angle valve job. Not extreme, but it will give you a boost in power. They also offer head rebuilding where they just gut it and put in everything new. Look here.

You may also look in to Magnus Motorsports becuase they also do good rebuilds.
