What do I have to do to get a good transmission that will hold up to hard driving? My transmission keeps screwing up and is hard to shift in second, third, and fourth gear, for the second time... is there a transmission I can get to put in it that is better, or should I just rebuild with better performence parts or what?

Thanks

i would like to know what you are doing to them, n/t's arn't exactly packed with power.

i would be gentle i don't think many people are into building n/t tranny's.

well i have a gsx and i wannna know the same thing, are there any after market trannies i cn swap in? its a 97

For turbo cars anyway...

This is my Magnus tranny. It's re-bearing'd and bushing'd all around (nice words LOL..) GVR-4 stronger 3rd and 4th, Shep 4 spyder center diff and 1g steel shift forks. It then degreased it and painted it all up to look pretty too..

This exact same tranny setup has taken lots of guys pretty fast with no breakage.

What is a bushing? Are you talking about the synchronizers & hub/sleeve assembies? Also, so it's clear for others, those are stock aluminum shift forks in that picture.
