That's one worthy DSM if I may say so myself.

Ha, as far as siblings wanting to have your car. My little sister wants mine when she gets her license. I said, yea and then you woke up.

Nice car but it would be more fun to build your own car not pick up a car that has already been modded. Hope you learned the mods that are done to the car and how things work. Hopefully your brother has passed on the info/knowledge. Good luck and welcome to the money pit.

i was there an helped for some of the build, if not helping i was watching most of it. i was there the first night she started up...rough night but well worth it LOL And ive had my fun with building a car, i have a supercharger 328is making about 290whp she's my daily.

I will push my car there.:(. what do you have done for the head?

the cams are similar to 272's but they idle like stock, ill find out the rest of the work done to it for you, but everything has been upgraded. it has APR studs and a stock HG

thanks guys, today ill get some shots of the interior cause its finally sunny out over here. and no this wont be a DD. i would like to take her around town every few days just to get parts flowing but mainly a track car.

Thanks guys, sorry no interior shots yet, ive been busy with work an school. i will try to get them up tomorrow. The brakes and radiator should be on the car within another week or so. once that's all set she will be tuned.

Nice car man. I see you're from the northeast - don't even get that thing near the road until the salt is all gone in the spring. DSMs hate salt as much as slugs do!

That is one of the cleanest engine bays I have ever seen. Beautiful car, you should really be nice to your brother haha.

Same:thumb: Well I will probably drive it up there but need a tow on the way back, that's what normally happens to me.

LOL. Im feeling a little better, I got to do some more painting but then again I have to more all of my eclipse stuff outside for a week because my brother is going to paint his car and he is a garage hog, This is a 3 bay garage, I have one bay taken up, my brothers feionce has a car sitting in the other bay not being worked on at all and the middle bay is open. And I have to push my car out which it doesnt have a windshield, hatch, sunroof, or rear window, If my ecu gets wet, There goes that dsmlink that I never got to use yet:cry:.

like said already!!! super clean bay!!! i would eat off that:p and love the sleeper effect outside:cool: nice 1g dude! you have been blessed by the dsm gods!!! or your brother..LOL welcome!:dsm:

Heh. My big brother is exactly opposite me. He has one of those super-compact Toyotas with maybe 12hp that gets 950mpg.

First image just reminded me why I want a 1g to play with. The other pictures just got better and better. Hell with the icebox intercooler...your bro used t-bolt clamps!!! :D

That WG dump tube is ugly, though. I'm sure it serves its purpose, but the rest of the engine bay puts it to shame.

Despite what others say, starting out with a modded car (that you helped mod) seems a better way to go considering it was your brother's car beforehand. How much would it cost to start with a stock 1g and end up with that?

Welcome aboard, have fun, be safe, and you suck (jealousy on my part).

around 18k with the car. it had a build head but he took the block to a shop and the pistons were installed wrong and cause the valves to bend, now the head on there stock with upgraded cams.

Thanks for all the feed back guys, an i didnt forger about the interior shots sorry i will have them up in a few days probably sunday because i will be installing new brakes an my aluminum radiator.

Hey guys, I just started getting back on this site. Sorry for such a delay. I WILL PUT THOSE PICS UP TOMORROW! I know it's been a while but tomorrow will be the day. I finally got her running as well. Maybe I can take some video and give you guys an idea on how she sounds like. I'm planning on getting the car tuned as well within next week or the week after.
