I have been with my jdm buddies for the past few years and got sick of it so figured id try my hand at a whole new level of beast and boost. I just recently bought a 95 talon 5 speed and the retard i bought it off of ####ed the bodykit all up so im going to replace it. Anybody like a certain brand or kind of bodykit for these? Shoot me ideas. Thanks, would appreciate future help also, thanks.

Stock talon body or 98 eclipse look pretty good. Not many here like body kits.

My 96Rs was the biggest piece of junk I ever owned went thru 2 motors bone stock, then to the junkyard.

Since everyone here likes to give their .02 cents, but not actually answer the question asked.

If you choose to go Body kit, then look at Extreme Dimensions, they are a supporting vendor on this site, the quality of their Duraflex bodykits is better than most vendors. as for the kit itself. the Buddy club2 style is the best looking IMO, but it basically depends on your preference.

Since you bought a 2g NA, you're kinda SOL when it comes to performance. It's basic bolt ons like a honda, header, intake, exhaust. Which won't net you stellar performance gains.

Option 1, Boost it: there are a few kits available out there, but be prepared to build the motor.

Option 2, Engine swap, so far i have yet to see an actual swap completed.
Search the forums regarding this. SRT4 swap, Evo 8,9 swap.
both will require a ton of fab work, it's not like swapping a B16A, into an EK.

Go show, have fun with it, just do it right, and don't cut corners.


It's Blasphemy but i would think it crazy to swap a K series into an NA eclipse

Whatever you do, spend the extra cash and do it right. The Duraflex stuff is far superior to standard fiberglass as it won't explode on impact. Now, I'm not saying to use your car as a bumper car, but you won't have to worry about chimps and missing pieces after a couple months.

You are not going to be worried about that body kit once you get a taste of what you can do performance wise

this is an ebay lip with a DIY front lip (garage door seal) pretty smart.

The stock bodykit is the best. That or the 97-98 Talon bumpers.
