Hi, Im bought a 1990 GSX back in febuary, i have had good and bad mostly bad from previous owner in this car. Its only ran about one month

I got the car running and everything worked fine for about a month. Then the bellhousing broke, The previous owner looked like it broke before and had it rewelded. SO i bought the dowl pins bought a new bellhousing and installed it all

Now I go to bleed the clutch and the pedal comes up half way and the slave cylinder goes out and wont go back in.

So i take the clutch pedal assembly out and notice its wore. So i have it fixed and welded and put back in. I took the slave cylinder out and the master cylinder out and took them apart and cleaned them both. The slave cylinder was bought about 2-3 months ago and maybe has 200 miles on it.

SO i rebleed it with the tube submerged in brake fluid and everything. Still nothin, after you start pushin on the clutch the slave cylinder goes all the way out keeping the clutch engaged and the pedal only comes up half way.

So im not sure what is causing this. The clutch and slave cylinder are all new and bleed it 2-3 times now.

Thanks that acutally helped. I went out and adjusted the rod and it made everything work. Its wierd cause i never adjusted it before and it all worked fine till the bell housing broke. Then i fixed the tranny and had the problem.

BUt thanks again, ive posted on about 4 forums now and the first post here helped me out.

I will be stickin around.:thumb:
