Well I just thought I would Introduce myself. I'm new to the boards and new to owning a DSM....which i have wanted to own for a few years know.....not new to tuning cars tho.
My name is Jon and I currently reside outside of Phoenix, AZ while I'm atteding school at UTI. I just bought my DSM today and would love to start modding it right away with some BPU stuff but that wont happen for a while. I have about 3500 worth of debt on my CC now from the purchase but i just HAD to have this car.
For my platform I chose the 1st Gen AWD Cheesewedge. I like the 1st gens alot more because (correct me if I'm wrong) the motor has better internals....and also the 14B is a much better turbo than the T-25 of later models. Im not too knowledgable about DSM's other than talks ive had with DSM guys. I personally know alot about Nissan 240sx's and have been building one for the past 3 years. Im not a drifter and all that so dont rag on me if u plan on it....its more of a Street/Strip car......too many mods to list....making closer to 450rwhp @ 21psi on 110 octane.....just ask and ill post pics. anyways I would love to do a 3in turbo back (including o2 outlet with open atsmophere discharge pipe for the internal wastegate), greddy type s, fmic, some rims, safc, FCD, fuel pump, and all those other bpu dsm tricks. I plan on maxing out the 14B most likely....it wasnt until i ran a bigger turbo and injectors and all the good stuff on my sr20det when i started running into all sorts of problems. The car drove very reliably with the t-25....but whats done is done....ill be happy with 300 or so to the wheels with the 14b in this dsm. Its a very VERY clean car inside and out with NO rust and only 79K....hard to find a 91 with low miles like that...which is a big reason y i also had to have it....the engine bay is clean as hell too....when i popped the hood i saw pretty much astonished. There wasnt even a spot of rust on the turbo's heat shield....
....now THATS clean!
well the mods will come when its paid off and i can actually afford to start the mods.....but trust me they WILL come.....its just how I am....i got the bug like most of u.
well i guess heres a few pics of her.

The best thing you can do for yourself now is go read:
You shouldn't have a hard time making it into the 300hp range with that turbo. Then lastly if it's the 6/4 combo, it seems to like to take heavy mods better than others.. but if you're only wanting 300hp, you won't have to worry about that quite yet.
