Hey all. New to the forum and to DSM scene. Just picked up a 1996 Eclipse GS-T Spyder! has a little over 100k miles and runs smoothly. I went through it and did regular maintenance, plugs, wires, filters, oil change, battery etc. Everything checks out!

Heres what it has done from what I was told, it has a front mount intercooler, injen air intake, aftermarket bov (not sure what brand yet) and a stainless exhaust from manifold back. Not sure if its a 3 inch or not but im putting it on the lift to find out. From what i can tell its stock turbo.

What i would like some help with is any ideas where to get DSMlink and also a wideband, a/f controller things like that before i go upgrading the turbo. Also any good places to get aftermarket boost gauges and manual boost controllers. I would like to cover my bases and get what i need for upgrading the stock turbo. Any and all tips are greatly appreciated. IF you guys need to know more info on the car dont hesitate to ask. Oh and its a 5 speed as well. Thanks!!:hellyeah::thumb::D

get dsmlink from their website and that takes care of the a/f controller as it does that and much much more. I got an aem wideband used for a deal but got the aem boost gauge online just do a little price shopping also if you don't know when the timing belt was done last might as well travel down the safe path :thumb:

definitely get this boost controller if you buy one: EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts

heres the website to get dsmlink, you may want to contact them so they can help you out on what to buy worked for me! - ECMTuning, Inc.

if you need someone to tune your car when you get dsmlink look up KP tuning, hes from PA, great guy he will also help you on anything else you need, think he charges $200 for a street tune, check him out on youtube as well.

Do NOT listen to that yes ecmlink has a afr estimate and thats what it is an estimate do not tune based on that as when i first installed my wideband and my ecmlink into my car the actual afr on wideband and the est in link was way differant to the point of my wideband showing 13 roughly afr and link showed 14-15 afr yes its an ok tool when its setup to work properly

Do yourself a favor and start now reading and reading again and again the ecmlink wiki page it will help a ton and will familiarize yourself with link and then when you want to tune the car should be about a walk in the park to get the car up and running and make decent power the fine tunning is tuffer but not the hardest thing in the world

You using a MAF-T or something like that? Does it fall flat on it's face when the throttle plate closes?

I only ask because it looks like you're venting to atmosphere, and your first post didn't say anything about engine management outisde of wanting to pickup Link. (Excellent choice, BTW. Don't waste your money with piggy-backs, etc... Do it right the first time.)

Personally, I'd recommend an Innovate wideband. They play nice with Link, and seem to poll faster than the UEGO.

I dont think he said to use ecmlink as a way to look at afr he just simply said he can use it to control the fuel. So his advice it correct. He also metioned about getting a wideband.

I noticed that as well the BOV isnt recirculated. The little valve on the intake has tape covering it. Any ideas on how to fix that? I know sooner or later its gonna throw a check engine light or something. Also just made a new post about first gear feeling laggy until full boost kicks in at higher rpms. Check that out and any tips you guys may have! i really appreciate all the positive feedback by he way, you guys are great!

look up a manual boost controller wiring schematic then just wire yours like that and assume the manual boost controller is your stock boost control solenoid.
