Hi there I'm new to the DSM world, I just bought a 1997 GST that tranny was in process of being changed. I got the car home and finished the job and hook engine back up that was unhook for some reason unknown. When I try to start the car it will hit and spuder and die unless you hit the gas and keep it rev up over 2-2.5k and pops three the exaust, here's the knocker if I unhook the tube from the throttle body on the intake the car will start and idle, but it's a 1.5k and has a hesitation when you hit the gas! Anyone have a idea on what my problem could be and were to start on fixing it?

K found the problem had vacume leak, and has a dead injector, but the oil pressure is way to high it's running on the high mark at idle and pegs out when driving! Any ideas on what could be the problem? I don't want to blow any seals or the turbo.

Check your PCV system, unless you have one of those breathers, then check that as well. In all honesty I've never heard that one but, from what it sounds like your crankcase pressure isn't being relieved adequately. I'd check for blockage in the tubing and such.
