new speedo

i took my dash out when i gutted my car and was wondering if there is any sort of speedometer i can hook up without using the speedo cable? or is there any sort of modual that would hook up to the speedo cable output shaft and convert the signal to digital so i could incorporate a speedo on my aluminum dash?

Try looking around at summit or jegs even, Ive seen something like that before. You will have to use the stock speedo sensor and then it gets put into an emulator to the digital.
Might be something to go with a tach and gear ratios if that wont work,
what are you trying to hook up?

i just am trying to figure a way to get a speedo in there so it will pass safty, its not gonna drive on the street much but i want to be able to take it out every once in awhile but since the dash is out the factory one wont really work
